- What is Topface?
- Topface allows you to find interesting people, be it girls or guys, with similar interests and hobbies from all over the world. It could be new penpals, cultural exchange buddies, or maybe even something more. When using Topface you'll notice how simple it is to meet people with whom you have a mutual attraction!
- How do I start using Topface?
- To start using the app, sign up with your email account or login via a social network account, such as Facebook, VKontakte, or Odnoklassniki.
If you access Topface via a social network account, then there is a chance of having multiple accounts that are not connected to each other.
If you login to Topface using your email address via the "Login" button, then your account will not be connected with a social network account. - How much does it cost?
- To start using Topface you won't need to pay a dime. Registration on Topface is free. Create a profile and upload your favorite photos, find interesting people from around the globe, send and receive Likes, and become popular in your city by being in the "Photofeed".
If you want even more, buy VIP-status: it lets you stand out from the crowd, browse profiles anonymously, get more Likes, and talk to/date as many people as possible. - Why do I need VIP-status?
- VIP-status gives you access to additional privileges that allow you to:
- send messages without a required mutual like;
- view your Guests and Admirers;
- - go unnoticed while visiting other people's pages by being "Invisible"; - What are Coins needed for?
- With the help of the Coins, you will be placed in the "Photofeed" and become popular in your city! Also, with Coins you can send romantic or friendly gifts to other users, and send admirations to people you like the most.
- What are "Likes" and how do I use them?
- Likes are tokens that you can send to others or get from them.
Purchasing likes means that you'll get likes from the same number of people as the number of likes you have purchased. That means that your likes are spent when other people like you. Likewise when you give out likes, it 'spends' another user's likes. - What are "Admirations"?
- Admirations are likes that allow you to draw more attention to yourself, compared with a simple Like.
- What is the "Photofeed"?
- When you're in the "Photofeed" everyone in your city will see you! You'll get a ton of Likes, Messages and go on many new dates.
- How do I get into the "Photofeed"?
- Go to the "Photofeed" section, click on "+" icon, then choose your best photo and follow the remaining instructions.
- What are "Favorites"?
- If you don't want to lose touch with someone you find interesting, you can add them to your "Favorites" list. That way you'll never have a missed connection. You can add someone to your Favorites via their profile page or in chat.
- What are "Admirers"?
- Admirers are users that have added you to their Favorites.
- What are "Guests"?
- Guests are the people who have visited your profile.
- How do I reset my password?
- If you cannot access your existing account and you want to restore your password, click the "Restore your passsword" button and specify your email address. Then follow the instructions contained in the email.
Purchases in Topface
- How do I buy VIP-status, Coins and Likes?
- Open your profile, click "VIP-status", and you'll see the VIP-status purchase screen.
On that screen you'll be able to look through VIP-status subscription options, as well as the list of privileges that VIP-status gives.
You can purchase coins and likes on the purchase screen. Go to the section "Balance" and choose a product that interests you.
You can make purchases with the Google Play app. Inside the app, choose a product that interests you, and link a bank card that you want to pay with to your Google-account, then follow the instructions onscreen.
In addition, you can purchase VIP-status, coins, and likes through SMS and e-money. This can be done using the purchase screen, in the "Balance" section by clicking on "SMS" and "Other." - I bought VIP-status but it didn't activate. How do I fix this?
- Use the feedback form built into the app.
Open your profile, click "Settings", click "Leave feedback", select "Payment Problems". Enter additional information, your email address and the order number. Click "Send" (top-right corner).
Note that if you use multiple profiles, your VIP-status will be available only on the profile where it was activated; your VIP-status does not apply to your other profiles. - How does a VIP-status subscription work?
- A VIP-status purchase works like a subscription, meaning that, when you subscribe, Google Play automatically withdraws money from your account and the VIP-status gets renewed.

- In the main menu, click "Balance" and choose the most convenient payment method in "SMS" or "Other" tab.
You can pay by one of the following ways:
- Debit/credit card;
- Yandex.Money;
- WebMoney;
- QIWI-Wallet;
- PayPal;
- SMS-payment from your mobile phone balance or other. - Paying for purchases through your mobile provider using Google Play
- With the help of Google Play, you can play for purchases in-app through your mobile service provider. In doing so, your account with your mobile provider will be charged within 15 minutes of a purchase.

To complete a payment in our app through your mobile service provider, you must:
1. Open Topface
2. Login to your profile. Check to make sure that you're logged into the correct profile (if you have more than one) that you want to use for this payment service.
3. Choose a Topface product that interests you.
4. Choose Google Play on the payment screen.
5. Choose the product that you want to buy.
6. A Google Play payment window will open.
7. To add/change your payment method, you need to tap the arrow symbol right next to the price.
8. Choose "Payment Methods"
9. In the section "Other Methods" choose "My (Name of Mobile Provider) Account"
10. In the window "Pay via (Name of Mobile Provider)" enter in your payment details. All fields must be completed to make this type of payment. In the future, you won't have to fill in these fields again.
11. Confirm your data.
12. After saving your data, in the Google Play window will now be a payment option "My (Name of Mobile Provider) Account".
13. Confirm your payment. To complete it, enter in the password for your Google account.
14. In 15 minutes your payment will be complete.
General questions
- How do I turn off email notifications?
- Open your profile, click "Settings." Disable any unnecessary notifications in "Notifications".
You also can disable notifications in the web version of Topface in your profile settings at: http://topface.com/mail-settings/ - How do I change my password?
- On the main menu, open your profile, click "Settings", select "Account", click "Change Password" and follow the instructions.
Please note that changing passwords this way is only available to accounts registered by e-mail, that is, accounts that are not linked with social networks.
If you login to Topface through social networks, such as Facebook, VKontakte, or Odnoklassniki, you would need to change the social network password, and then use it to login to Topface. - How do I confirm my email address?
- Open your profile, click "Settings", select "Account". Enter your email address or change it if the previous one was entered incorrectly, then click "Send Verification". After that you will receive an email with further instructions per the email address provided.
- How do I logout of my current account?
- Open your profile in the main menu, click on "Settings", choose "Account", click on "Log out".
- Why can I not logout of my current account?
- To send messages to other users, you need to confirm your email address. Open your profile, click "Settings", select "Account", enter your email address or change it if it was previously entered incorrectly, then click "Send verification email". After that you will receive an email with further instructions per the email address provided.
- How do I delete my Topface profile?
- Open the profile, click "Settings", select "Account", click "Delete Account".
To delete a profile without the possibility of restoring it later, do not use your profile data on a mobile device in the future. In other words if you use a deleted profile on a mobile device, your page will be reactivated. - Why do I get an error when I try to download the Topface app on Google Play?

Profile and photos
- How do I add photos?
- Go to your profile from the main menu, click "+" in the "Photo" section. You then will be asked to select a photo from your device or to take a new one.
- How do I delete a photo?
- Open your profile, open the photo you want to delete, then click on the bin icon. Note that you cannot delete the photo that is set as your profile photo.
- Why was my photo deleted?
- There are certain rules you have to follow or photos will be removed by our moderators.
Reasons for removal:
- The photo shows someone/something else besides yourself (photos of other people, groups of people, objects, animals, vehicles, etc. will be removed);
- The photo contains forbidden content as specified under the Terms and Conditions (alcohol, product placement, etc.);
- The photo contains far too many special effects (frames, flowers, stars, etc.). No more than 50% of the total area of the photo may be covered with these effects;
Compliance with these rules ensures that all your photos will be published.
If your photo has been removed but you believe it complies with the above rules, please write to tech support in the ( "Write a review" section). We promise to look into it.
Dating and chatting
- I cannot send a message to another user
- To send messages to other users, you need to confirm your email address. Open your profile, click "Settings", select "Account", enter your email address or change it if it was previously entered incorrectly, then click "Send verification email". After that you will receive an email with further instructions per the email address provided.
- How do I change my search criteria in the "Dating" section?
- Open the "Dating" section, click on the "Settings" button, then change the search parameters to fit your requirements.
- How do I send a gift?
- Open the user's profile, click on the button in the top-right corner, choose the option "Gift", then choose the gift you want to send.
- How do I delete a conversation?
- Press and hold a finger on the conversation until additional buttons at the top of the screen appear. Then click the bin icon and the selected conversation will be deleted.
- How do I delete a specific message in a conversation?
- Press and hold a finger on the message until an additional menu appears. In this menu, click "Delete".
- How do I add a user to my "Favorites"?
- You can add a user to "Favorites" in several ways:
- open a user's profile, click on the heart icon in the right-hand corner of the screen, choose "Add to Favorites";
- from the section "Conversation": open a chat with the user, click on the user's pic, then click "Add to Favorites". - How do I delete someone from my "Favorites"?
- Open the profile, go to the VIP-status section, then click on "Black List". Press and hold your finger on the user's name until additional buttons at the top of the screen appear. Then click the bin icon.
- How to add someone to my Black List?
- You can add a user to your Black List in several ways:
- open a user's profile, click on "More", then select "Add to Black List".
- from the section "Messages", "Guests", "Admirers", "Likes" "Affection": hold a finger on the name of a user until additional buttons appear at the top of the page, then click on "Add to Black List". - How do I delete someone from my Black List?
- Open the profile, go to the VIP-status section, then click on "Black List". Press and hold your finger on the user's name until additional buttons at the top of the screen appear. Then click the bin icon.
- Someone sent me spam or an offensive message. What do I do?
- Press and hold the message until the additional menu appears. Click "Complaint", state the reason for the complaint, then click "Send" (top-right corner).
- How do I report/submit a complaint against another user?
- Open the user's profile, click the heart icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Select "Complaint", state the reason for the complaint, then click on the "Send" button (top-right corner).
